Chair of DarkSky UK and CEO of Astroventures, Roy Alexander, is the founder of the award-winning Battlesteads Observatory and a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, with over twenty years of experience sharing the wonders of the universe. He has helped design several other observatories across the UK and works internationally to protect our natural night skies from light pollution. As chair of DarkSky UK, Roy is a passionate advocate for social celestial justice, dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of where they live, can enjoy the magic of a star-filled sky right from their own doorstep.
